My speaking career started in the health care industry.
My mom was a nurse. My grandma worked in the dental industry. My very first speaking engagements were for nurses and hospice workers. (I was a hospice volunteer before Mom got sick, and I took care of her in her last months.)
I have a special place in my heart for the hard-working members of the health care industry, and I love to share inspiring, informative, and impactful programs on how to deliver outstanding patient care while not succumbing to compassion fatigue.
