Be enthusiastic, not manipulative.

Sales is an honorable profession that requires clarity, confidence, and cohesion. Don't let anyone hoodwink you into thinking you need to play a bunch of reindeer games to get the deal.

Check out this video where I share a recent experience of a manipulative sales discussion and how it failed dismally. (Fun fact: After I respectfully declined his offer, the offending party also tried to leave the conversation with a not-so-subtle threat that he would share my lack of interest with others that could hire me.)

Not smart business, and very bad karma.
