Monday Morning Energization
"How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives".
This quote from Annie Dillard is one of my favorites.
I do my best to mindfully start each day with movement, meditation, and manifestation (I call this my Morning Momentum). It is especially important on Monday mornings when I have less get-up-and-go. It's even more critical during that first Monday after Daylight Saving Time.
This morning I wanted to get a jump on the day, so I took a few extra minutes before getting out of bed to play the mental movie. I visualized feeling fabulous, enjoying my Morning Momentum, eating a healthy breakfast, getting prettified, and recording stress-free client videos. I spent the time I would have been snoozing to see my Monday unfold exactly as I wished it. Those few extra minutes of quiet contemplation were just what I needed to give me the mojo I needed to start the day off with a bang.

If you find yourself resisting tasks ahead of you, maybe it's time to take a few minutes to play the mental movie first. Let go of being busy and let your mind play out the scenario that you have all the time you need to get done what MUST get done.
